Cavity Wall Insulation
KOREFILL easily meets the required U value of 0.21 in the walls of newly constructed properties (150mm cavity). We use KOREFILL 5200 ‘Diamond’ Bonded Bead having a Thermal Conductivity of 0.033.
The beads, similar to what you would see in a beanbag, arrive by truck to your home. Our trained installers blow these beads trough pre-drilled small injection holes. As the beads pass trough the injection nozzle, they are coated with adhesive which allow the beads to flow easily before bonding together forming a solid Insulation mass within the cavity. KORE FILL is totally safe to use in both new and existing houses, whether constructed with block or bricks and even in areas exposed to driving rain.
KORE FILL is approved by Irish Agrement Board as a cavity wall insulating material. Registration Number 07/0293
